My club wants to vote for you, but isn’t sure that you have the background it takes to work with and sometimes divisive board. Change my mind.
Many people in the cat fancy do not know about my professional background. I have worked with Wall Street investment firms for over forty years with several Fortune 500 businesses. I worked for Salomon Brothers, one of the five largest investment banking enterprises at the time, as their investment manager in Asia. I’ve also sat on two financial boards (names here)
I currently manage an 85-member team handling a multi-million dollar department, so yes, I have the expertise handling both people AND business.
You do not stay in the financial sector at that level for so long without possessing both great business skill and being to work with contentious people. These are the skills that I will bring to the CFA board.
